High, New York...

New York City. The Big Apple. The city that never sleeps--unless it's got the right Indica in it. While weed might not be legal in New York (City) just yet, many New Yorkers proudly inhale--and flaunt--their cannabis use, whether it be on Instagram or at the club. From its endless amount of scenic parks and rooftop venues with views of the city, more people get high in New York City than any other city. It's just more difficult for New Yorkers to be open about it--or find products like edibles and dabs. Fortunately, approximately 20 Medical Marijuana facilities will serve patients in hospitals sometime in New York in 2014. But that means millions of other New Yorkers still must resort to the black market for their marijuana. In our dream world, there would be a dispensary on every corner right next to NYC's bodegas. We're here to help make that pipe dream a reality.

The Scene

High quality cannabis at a premium price, New York boasts the proudest--and most genetically advanced--underground marijuana scene in America and arguably the world. Unfortunately, to find the best weed in New York, you have to be in the know, as marijuana currently remains a black market business. Whether you're smack dab in the heart of Times Square or upstate in Syracuse, New York, it's all about having the right, reliable hookup.

The Highs

  • More strain options than any other non-Medical Marijuana state or city in the country.
  • Delivery services are the mode of choice, meaning NYC's stoners don't even have to leave their couch for an eighth.
  • The signature, cubic containers that NYC bud typically is sold in.
  • The thriving head-shop scene with more than any other options in any city in the world.
  • Nearly unlimited choice when it comes to those late night munchies.

The Lows

  • America's highest weed prices: delivery services sell 2.5 grams of high quality cannabis for $50-60. (also the most expensive US city to live in)
  • Weed still isn't legal weed and the penalties for possession are way too harsh. Totally not cool.
  • Being stoned in a crowd--or worse yet, stuck--on a subway next to that guy that keeps telling you about the statues that talk to him.
  • Having to smoke indoors 9 months out of the year or freeze.
  • Easy to gain 50lbs from those late night munchies. Thanks cheesecake.
